Being one of the smallest masonry heaters available, the Ecco Stove ® E580 will heat the home without over heating the initial room. The compact design is in keeping with the more traditional wood burning stove but with the benefit of spreading heat over a larger area, storing the heat for longer and a highly efficient combustion system.
Masonry heaters are traditionally heavier than normal wood burning stoves due to the considerable advantages of thermal mass.
Ecco Stove ® E580 features:
- 5-6 hours of usable heat retained after the fire has gone out.
- High quality solid mineral throughout (Silicon Carbide).
- Not currently efficiency tested USA and Canada (Has EU efficiency EN13240).
- Air wash clear glass.
- Tested on wood logs and will burn all solid fuels.
- 10 year warranty.
- Extensive range of heat resistant colors available or natural sparkling granite like finish.

According to the gauge on our propane tank, we’ve used next to nothing since we started running the E850 Ecco Stove about 7 days ago!
Our range of temperature within the house is between 68 and 72 degrees F. We generally only fuel the Ecco Stove mornings and evenings. I’m confident that if the grid went down, our household heating wouldn’t be affected.
